The steps

Add the connector. In Claude on the web or desktop: Settings, Connectors, add custom connector, URL https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp, then sign in to Higgsfield. In Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http higgsfield https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp

Describe the shot in plain words: subject, action, camera move, length, aspect ratio, and the look. Attach a reference image if you have one.

Ask Claude to recommend a model and show the credit cost first.
Copy this prompt
Use the Higgsfield tools. I need a [length] second [aspect ratio] clip: [shot description]. Recommend the best model for this and say why, give the credit cost, and write the prompt you will send. Wait for my approval before you generate.

Approve, wait for the job, and review the clip. Ask for changes to the prompt, not a new model, until the shot is right.

Upscale or reframe the approved clip for each channel, then download the final files into your project folder.

Where this goes wrong
- Video generations cost many more credits than images. Ask for the cost before every run.
- Text, hands, and logos still come out wrong. Add them in the edit, not in the prompt.
- Check the license terms of your Higgsfield plan before you use a clip in paid media.
